Transitions

Hello Bloggers! This week me and my fellow classmates are working on creating transitions, so I have compiled 6 different shots and put two of them each in their own video with a different transition. In these videos, I used iMovie to edit them and it was a really fun process for me because I caught on quickly with how to use the software and just adding on more to my editing skills was a really great experience for me. I got these clips a couple of weeks ago at my local park, as well as the beach, and it was really cool filming it because I love taking pictures and videos of sunsets and sunrises. I also got videos from a local art museum as well which you will see in the videos below. Creating these videos was really a joyful thing I was able to do and editing it was an even cooler thing I did. Hope you guys enjoy and I will see you in the next blog!

In this video, I used a fade transition to help ease people into the next scene where it was a lot more colorful. This created such a smooth transition between the two scenes as you can see within the video.

This is one of the clips that I got at my local park of the sunset. As you can see, I used the dissolve transition to really link these two videos and create a smooth video.

In this final video, I had taken it at the park and the beach and I used the wipe transition to help signify the change in location. I found that this helped to make the video so much more smoother with the complete change in scenery.
